On “go,” players use their chopsticks to flick the potatoes through the hole in the ring divider and onto their opponent’s plate. A key rule is that players cannot lean over the dividing ridge to get closer. The game continues in a frantic, simultaneous battle until one player has successfully cleared all the potatoes from their side, declaring them the winner.
